i went to school with bryan. he lives in slovenija now. we are doing a drawing trade. we decided on a subject; the letter 'B'. he sent me his address. i said it was a real beauty, and he said this: "it means bee street, in a town called small plum"

my friend david is teaching second grade art. he sent me this drawing of a bug jar today. thought it was great! loved how everything was labeled.

my pal, jes just sent me this photo. she is in LA sipping coffee in the sun under palms. here in brooklyn the wind is slapping cold rain around. i'm going to pretend that I'm on a fishing boat, bundle up and head out to parco for a coffee of my own. company of one.

enjoying an early morning at my desk. making a few small packages. never imagined i'd love brown paper packing tape as much as i do. admiring some of my treasures. it's a beautiful day in brooklyn. heading for a stroll to the post office. then, to cafe regular. they make a beautiful latte.
