picked up some cheap wood panels this weekend that were cut to the perfect size – and gave myself the taks of applying the gesso tonite -preparing surfaces before painting is a wonderful feeling. put some tunes on, and white-white-white…i really enjoy this process. it’s nice to see the first layer down, wood still showing through once it dries….and then putting the second layer down….i love how white the second layer looks on top of the ‘dirty’ first layer. starts to look like something, and then gone. it’s exciting to me! am gonna smooth these pups up with some fine grit sandpaper tomorrow and finish ’em off. then comes the hard part. maybe something will come to me in my sleep.
