yesterday a box arrived at work for me. i dug through the styrofoam popcorn to find this AMAZING hat nestled inside = sheer delight! the detailing is fantastic! i met the extraordinarily talented, Pamela Claussen at a Wedding event last month – I only happened to be there because i set up our booth and figured i’d hang around for a few cocktails. well i spotted Pam’s booth and couldn’t stay away. I waited and waited to speak to her. I tried on hats, and told her how beautiful her work was. I’ve been to a lot of wedding events, and have never seen handmade pieces like these. She is true artist! Pam is from Seattle and owns “Glam by Pam” she makes hairpieces, hats, and corsets out of her innumerable collection of vintage materials. At the end of the night she wanted to make me a hat! she asked me what colors I liked and I said blues! we exchanged a few emails and then magically my hat arrived! what a fabulous gift! i’m sitting here doing some work, wearing my hat and am as pleased as punch.
