got these boots in the mail today. another successful ebay purchase. $14 smackers! i think i’ll lay in bed and watch a movie wearing these suckers…won’t necessarily break them in, but I will feel like i’m well on my way. i’m going to Utah in september. i’ve been ITCHIN’ for an adventure, and i’m finally getting my chance to go – out west! - i’m going with wildernessvolunteers.org. it’s $259 bucks, you can apply for a trip off a list of dozens! they seem to run from march through october of each year – all over the U.S. anyway, i’ll be going to the town of Escalante, UT. we’ll be eradicating the river beds of this Russian Olive tree/bush stuff …i haven’t started “working out” yet to build up some arm muscle for all the digging and sawing, but i have good intention of fitting some push ups into my daily routine…at some point.
