barbara hares is a real sweet lady. she makes these ‘hanky pillows’ from vintage handkerchiefs, embellishes them with buttons and stitches and sells them in her adorable little shop, earthgatherings, in millville, nj. here is a picture of a few of them. i bought my grandmother and mom each one for mother’s day and they loved them. She has a few more on her Etsy site right now along with many other vintage treasures!
