a start.

got a little bit of a start on that sketch i started a few weeks back. sometimes it feels odd to be painting a winter scene when i can look out the window at trees covered in leaves and i can hear birds singing. but i’m still enjoying it.

this tree turbine project by Joseph Smolinski is great! he is part of the show Badlands up at Mass MOCA this month. read through the older posts on his blog to see his drawings and plans from the beginning. i always love when the artists collaborate with the scientists and engineers.
