amy bennett’s paintings are amazing! – they are studies from small scale models that she constructed from styrofoam, cardboard and railroad miniatures.  i love the perspective and composition. i went to the park this afternoon because i felt like i should really be outside on a day as gorgeous as this.  the park was just right.  i had a great spot by a huge tree. was nice to be barefoot and soak in the sun for a bit.
